Type : Heat Bodied Linseed Oil (U - V)

Principal Properties : Imparts good wetting and dispersing properties promotes good gloss and flow in enamels and produces hard films.

Recommended Uses:

Wood finishes, lacquers, primers,
undercoat and flat paints, mastics and
sealants, jointing pastes, printing inks
and core oils.

Application:

Blown linseed oil is usually used as:

- a wood preservative
- an agent to protect iron from rust even if it is somewhat rusty
- as an anti-rust-agent in primer paint applied lavishly with a brush
- as plasticizer for lacquers
