OUR DOUBLE REFINING PROCESS:
People need certain amounts of cholesterol in their bodies. These are supplied in the form of essential fatty acids. Essential because they insulate the body and help maintain body heat. But since the dietary cholesterol requirements are already being supplied by food intake, cooking oil need not contain any additional cholesterol. That is why our cooking oil has been doubly refined to assure the consumers of more healthy diet.
Crude coconut oil is pretreated with phosphoric acid and then subjected to a special High Speed Centrifugal Separation mechanism in order to remove basic non-oil impurities. Here, Free Fatty Acid (FFA) is reduced from 4 % to a low of 0.7%.
The physically refined coconut oil prostrated with alkali is once again subjected to the High Speed Centrifugal Separation process wherein any remaining undesirable non-oil impurities are removed. Here, FFA is reduced to a mere 0.5%.
All throughout this double-refining process, the oil is subjected to steam and vacuum to remove odors and flavors. After which, the oil is filtered with carbon to deodorize it. As a result, FFA is finally reduced to an amazingly low 0.025%.
In addition, every single drop of oil is locked in a closed-loop system wherein the oil is never exposed to atmospheric conditions.
